Child Protection Team

Currently the University of Florida Child Protection Team, based in Gainesville, is reponsible for the medical exams of the children at our CAC.

The needs of our area have grown and for that reason we have applied to the Florida Department of Health to become our own Child Protection Team for Lake and Sumter Counties. We would then be able to provide the needed medical services and follow-up care on a 24/7 basis in our own area.
