Diane L. Pisczek, M.Ed., Executive Director
Diane Pisczek   Diane is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and Winthrop University with a Master's Degree in Counseling. She brings to the CAC more than 25 years of experience working with families and children in crisis. She has been the Executive Director at the Center since 2001. Prior to coming here, she was the Regional Director of Catholic Charities in Wilmington, NC.

Donna Richey, Assistant Director
Donna Richey   Donna joined the CAC staff as the Assistant Director in 2009. She graduated in 1973 from Emory University Phi Beta Kappa with Honors. Has previous work experience as a Social Worker with the Department of Children and Families. She also established and administered the Guardian Ad Litem program in the Fifth Judicial Circuit and was a Director with the Lake County Boys’ Ranch. Most recently, Donna was a Legal Assistant/Office Manager of Steven J. Richey, P.A.

Jamie L. Barrett, LMHC, RPT-S, Child Protection Team (CPT) Coordinator
Jamie Barrett   Jamie is a graduate of Mississippi State University with an M.S. degree in Counselor Education. She is licensed in Florida as a Mental Health Counselor. Prior to coming to the CAC in December of 2003, Jamie worked with the Department of Children and Families as a Supervisor and with the University of Florida Child Protection Team as a Case Coordinator. Jamie has received extensive training in Play therapy and is certified as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor.

Cynthia B. Wanberg, M.Ed., NCC, RPT-S, LMHC, Clinical Supervisor
Cynthia Wanberg   Cindy joined the CAC staff in January of 2008. She brings with her a wealth of experience in providing therapeutic services for children, adolescents and families. Her areas of specialization include Play Therapy, Bereavement and Loss, and Post Traumatic Stress. She has previous work experience as an elementary school counselor in Pennsylvania, as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at the Milton Hershey School in Pennsylvania and at LifeStream Behavior Center in Leesburg.

Shantay N. Smith, MS, CPT Case Coordinator
Shantay Smith   Shantay graduated with a Master’s of Science in Criminal Justice with Honors from the University of Central Florida in 2005 and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2004. She has extensive experience in the field of child abuse as a Child Protective Investigator for the Department of Children and Families. Shantay is training to become a Forensic Interviewer for our clients.

Karyn D. Walker, ARNP, Clinical Coordinator of Medical Services
Karyn Walker   Karyn graduated from SUNY at Buffalo with a Master of Science degree as a family nurse practitioner. She obtained a Forensic Nursing Post-Master’s certificate in 2006. She has been with the CAC since January of 2009. Karyn performs the medical exams on children when there are allegations of abuse. Karyn worked for the University of Florida Child Protection team for 4 years prior to coming to the Lake-Sumter CAC.

Cathy Carter, MS, CPT Case Coordinator / Counselor
Cathy Carter   Cathy is a graduate of Florida State University with an M.S. degree in Art Therapy. She is pursuing her licensure in Florida as a Mental Health Counselor as well as working to become a Registered Art Therapist (ATR). Starting in 2006, Cathy interned for close to a year at the CAC while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Prior to returning to the CAC in June of 2009, Cathy worked at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, Devereux Statewide Intensive Psychiatric Program, and Gadsden Correctional Facility as an Art Therapy intern. Currently, Cathy conducts Forensic Interviews and provides Art Therapy counseling services to our clients.

Lillie Vaughn, Supervised Visitation Coordinator
Lillie Vaughn   Lillie has been with the CAC since 2002 when she was hired to run the Supervised Visitation Program. She previously worked at the Children's Home Society as a Family Support Worker and at the former Lake County Boy's Ranch as the Transportation Coordinator. She has received extensive training in Child Development issues and Domestic Violence issues.

Debbie Boutilier, Office Manager
Debbie Boutilier   Debbie came to the CAC in 2001 after moving here from Massachusetts where she worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for 12 years. She brings with her an extensive knowledge of bookkeeping and helps manage the financial aspects of the numerous grants the Center receives.
